The season is drawing to a close—but next summer is sure to come!

Traces of sand still linger on the terraces and the Baltic Sea sparkles in the autumn sun; once again, a wonderful season here in Heidkate is coming to an end.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the guests who visited us this year and spent their holidays by the Baltic Sea. We hope you enjoyed the fresh sea air, long walks on the beach, and lovely moments by the water.

Things are quieting down a bit for us in October: we are taking a seasonal break, and our office will remain closed throughout the month. Consequently, we will not be able to process inquiries again until November.

For those already dreaming of next summer by the Baltic Sea, there is good news: as usual, bookings for the 2027 season are expected to open via our booking system around mid-November 2026.

Until then, we wish you a beautiful "golden autumn"—filled with sunshine, fresh Baltic air, and perhaps a touch of anticipation for your next holiday with us in Heidkate.

Recreation area at the Baltic Sea

The recreation area Heidkate, approx. 25 km from Kiel, scores with numerous hiking and cycling trails. The gently sloping Baltic beach is also safe for bathing children and is monitored by the DLRG in summer. There is no visitor’s tax on the beach.

The well-kept holiday homes spoil with a roofed south-facing terrace, fenced garden with garden furniture, flat screen TV, radio, fully equipped kitchen and barbecue permit. Dogs are welcome in all houses.
